what to do next after interview

Just finished the interview today. The last consul said everything looks good and sent me to releasing.

I just want to ask when CEAC will update my status to "ISSUED" and can I track my visa through ustraveldocs? I haven't seen any update there since I registered last October.

You can get lots of answers as to how quickly someone else got their visa, but reality is NO ONE knows how long it will take for the embassy to process your visa. Once CEAC states ISSUED it can still be 7-10 days to receive your visa.

Wait, you need GCP to apply for a passport now? I had mine renewed and all they asked for is my original NSO marriage certificate  or is it required only for new passport applicants?

I don't know about renewal needing the GCP. I applied for a passport only after I got married (saved me from having to get another one after the name change) and they required the GCP certificate from CFO for those married to a foreign national. I applied for my passport in DFA pampanga last year.

If you have previoulsly attended the cfo seminar and received the certificate and all you need is your passport stamped; you will need to bring original and copy of the certificate, your passport, copy of bio page your passport, copy of visa, 1 2x2 photo.

Thanks for all the answers, Hank. To my other questions as well. I was just curious to know how others' went. Also, too eager to see the "ISSUED" status on CEAC. hehe..

I also wanted to know if and how I can track my visa through ustraveldocs. I can't remember where I read that it is possible to track the visa by logging in to the website. But mine never had any update since I registered last October. Is that normal?

We received email from ustraveldocs and txt msg from 2GO the day passport left the embassy and received by 2GO. 2GO sent another txt the day of delivery and called with delivery time. 2GO apparently has 3 days to deliver according to an email inquiry I sent them. But they delivered the next day.

Hello,

I got my visa today. Picked it up from 2go sm marikina

Nov10: interview

Nov10: status changed to issued (up to this date and time it's still showing as issued. didnt even change to 'your visa has been printed'

Nov11: embassy closed due to veterans day

Nov13: 2go picked up the passports from the embassy (received a text from the embassy saying it was transferred to 2go)

Nov14: got a text message from 2go saying its ready for pick up.

U can track the passport at ustraveldocs.com/ph and use the UID as the tracking number. Same tracking number to use when u track it in 2go.

:)

Yes you can track the progress through USTRAVELDOCS. Pop on utraveldocs and give it a look see, it show status updates for most. Big thing is too relax, yes I know you are anxious and excited, try to spend time with family in a few weeks you will be missing them very much.
