Hi All,

Need some help here. My case has been approved by USCIS and currently it;s with NVC. I submitted I-130 file for my wife in my green card status. Later I became US citizen and sent documents to NVC to upgarde my case from F2A to IR1.

They told me it will take 45 days for us to review the email. It's already over 45 days and still my case is in F2A status.

Can anyone please help me, How I can update my case from F2A to IR1. Otherwise it will take a year to hit that priority date.

If any one went thru same problem, please help me. I'm totally help less and clue less that what should I do.

Thanks..

I would suggest calling NVC and asking for a supervisor.

I have the same issue. Filed I-130 with PD of jan 2015. Naturalized 2 months ago and since then emailed NVC twice already to upgrade the case. I was told to wait for 45 days and I did but when i called last time they said it's at least 45 days and could be more. Meanwhile I did received emails to pay the bills and send the documents. So I've already paid my AOS and IV bills and sent the package with scan date of Nov 12, 2015. Let me know when u sent the email and also update on the case when you get upgraded. Thanks.

I got email today saying case upgraded to IR1, and that is after 58 days of sending them email. I did called them once a week or so to just keep updated. The CEAC is still saying F2A though. Also, i'm married for less than 2 years and thought the case was supposed to be CR1. Let's see what happens next.
