Mine is cr1 visa .... our case took almost 8 months before got CC at NVC but before my husband get involved their state congressman he's living at kentucky US but we're glad we let him involved. He just sent us a letter and form to fill out for some details about our case..

If you're stuck in NVC better to let your congressman involved.

Hope things get better for u soon

Has the beneficiary already had the interview? All the congressman's inquiry can to is ask on your behalf. They can't hurry AP up at all. There is no time frame for how long it takes either.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

How long have you been in AP? My fiance's AP was completed in exactly three months. But of course every case is different. To get a congressman involved, you need to contact your senator or represanative's office and they will ask you to fill out a privacy release form. There is a chance that involving a congressman could make the Embassy take your case more seriously, but that might just be my feeling. The only response I ever got from the embassy through my senator's aid was that it was still in AP and they would contact us when it has been completed.
