APEC conference in Manila

Anyone here affected by this? My fiance is scheduled to leave on Friday 11-20 to arrive in US. The APEC conference will force the cancellations to many domestic and international flights. I called American Airlines and they told me the flight is still scheduled. I hope this does not change because we are scheduled to get married on 11-24, my birthday. Any of you have flights scheduled from Manila next week? And if so, has this affected you. It's supposed to last all next week. Thanks.

100s of flights were already cancelled, Cebu Pacific and PAL already announced cancelled flights and there could be more. Expect also hours of delays of domestic and intl flights. If she is flying domestic to Manila she needs to monitor here flight and she can re-book free of charge if her flight is cancelled. Expect hours of delays so she should make sure she have enough time to connect to her intl flight.
