~~moved to general immigration discussion as topic is not about IR1/CR1 process and procedures but about lack of health insurance and green card renewal/ROC~~

Are you asking if it will be a problem for removing the conditions on your card? No it won't be, however not being with health insurance may be an issue on your taxes since you're required to have health insurance.

I moved the topic here because you aren't dealing with a CR1 visa anymore, you're an LPR, but you asked about health insurance not ROC.

Thanks for moving it for me. If it's not an issue on the renewal then that answers my questions. As far as taxes I can pay the fee if it comes to it, but from what I understand I can backdate my insurance through cobra.

Yes! Sorry, I'm rusty on all the terminology at this stage. Just looking at the docs and stuff now - can't file until Feb 7th so starting to try and get up to speed so I can get this one done and dusted quick as possible.

Also when I went for my medial in london the lady said something about how I'd need vaccination records for my adjustment, but I can't see anything on there. Guessing she meant if I want to apply for citizenship, but that's a long way away yet.

Thanks again!

You have a greencard. Immigration does not care about further vaccinations or proof of income sponsorship. That is over. Health insurance is also not an immigration issue.

To be clear, the medical person was giving you the K1 speech. They do AOS in order to get a greencard. You got yours as part of the CR1 visa package.

All you have to do now is prove you are still married, live with the wife, and have co-mingled your finances for two years. Compile everything you have jointly and submit evidence with dates spanning since you arrived in the U.S. There's lots of lists in the removing conditions forum.

Yep - I was reading through the guide and I don't think this will be an issue at all as in the last year we rented a house together, then bought a house together, opened a capital one 360 checking/savings account that both our paychecks go into, have our names on the bills that allow it and split the rest, have both our names on the insurance for both our cars, filed a joint tax return, both names on the cellphone plan, took a couple of vacations together, and even had our wedding (so we have loads of wedding photos to provide).

We've got supporting documentation out the ying-yang and I've been keeping a running copy of everything in a folder in the filing cabinet for next year.
