so we Had our interview on 20th of october and was given paper stating AP , no documents asked to submit. CO kept all of our originals and returned passports and said they will call us once they are done with AP. My CEAC status updated just on 21st of october but no stating AP, still ready from that date and also from 21st of october no updates on CEAC. does anybody have idea what does it mean? why CEAC not showing AP? how long we will wait now? we are in Slovakia, so not very busy embassy here.. thank you all for replies I am getting paranoid and hoping for fast resolve of our case with approval.Any positive comments help also for my mind.. :-)

Have you tried contacting the embassy to inquire on your status? I'm not familiar with your consulate but I know AP can be normal after interview and prior to visa issuing. The length of AP can vary greatly.

The fact they returned your passport is not a good sign. Sorry I know you asked for positive comments. Maybe they returned it to allow you to use it in the meantime. I would call or email the embassy.

Yes i inquired about my case with embassy they said it can take up to 6 weeks and that they will call me to drop off our passports for visa. Our category is Eb1 so a little bit different than mariage based
