After medical to interview letter wait time?

Hey guys,

I was wondering how long the wait is, typically, after the embassy receive your medical results, to when you get the letter for your interview? (I know its a 6 week wait approx until the actual interview, but I just mean when do they typically notify you about your date next?)

I had my medical on the 3rd of November (the last stage, already submitted my readiness form and everything), and CEAC last updated on the 6th - I assume that's them recieving my medical results! So I'm hoping it's any day now, but I don't want to have to keep eagerly watching for the post man!

Please do you have to complete your medicals before sending the readiness form in OR send the readiness as soon as you book the medicals?

You can do it either way. Until they get the medical results, you won't be put in the interview line, so sending early doesn't move you faster, but it may make you feel more accomplished.

I submitted my readiness form the day before my interview just so I could know that it had been done. But as said above, it doesn't make things move faster but it might make you feel like you're progressing (which you are).

Some people do it after, some do it before - it doesn't matter either way as they will not schedule an interview until they have received your medical results.

I had my medical on October 6th having already submitted my readiness form and the letter came through the door on October 22nd...Just over two weeks. From what I've gathered on here they're usually rather faster than 6 weeks but there are always exceptions. Good luck to you!
