Very happy for all who got nvc case number. I still haven't got approved yet.

Just keep in mind that those of us with a case # still can't do much with it. Hopefully that makes you feel a little better =P Good luck with the NOA2, hope it happens soon for you!

I am a november filer i havent been active in this forum but my case was approved on the 7th of April and i got the hard copy on the 11th in the mail I have been calling to get a case number and have been told its up to 35 days from the approval date. I called on Monday and was harshly scolded by a man because i called to ask for the number the man said it would take up to 42 more days or however many the national visa center felt was nessasary so i might as well get confortable when i asked to speak to a supervisor he hung up on me. is this a typical thing that i should expect while being processed by the nvc? can my case take longer because of this?

Hi, I'm also a November Filer from the same country as you :) My husband's case got approved on March 13. Don't listen to the whole 35 day thing. Right now they're moving really fast you can see my signature and my timeline. I got my case number in 7 business days. So in a week, I love how fast NVC stage goes. It's only been 6 or 7 days since my case number and I have already paid the Fees and sent the AOS and IV packet I'm just waiting on the DS-260 to open up so that I can complete that and I'm waiting for Case Complete. If you have any questions don't be afraid to ask. That's what were here for to help each other out :)

Gm So yesterday I also call uscis abt my case status. The lady was very nice she explain to tht I'm still pending. To call back around the 1st of June. Is this moral for it to take six month for approval

They try to do five months. You may want to ask to speak to a supervisor as to why this is over the target time and if you can't get any answers I think you can contact your local congressperson to try to help.

Congrats!! I hope that's the case. You should let them know in the NVC thread so they can add you to the spreadsheet.

Hey guys! I just got approved today on my NOA2 finallyy!!After a month delayed due to RFE. So can I try to call after a week at NVC to get my case number? Thanks!

It's not that easy. Nebraska is taking 2-3 weeks to send the cases to NVC. After it takes about a week or a bit less to reach NVC. It's been taking a week or 8-10 business days after they receive your case to get a case number. You have to wait until you get a notification email and text (if you have that) saying USCIS sent your case to the department of state . Then after a week of that you should start calling NVC to see if they received your case.
