is it completely safe to travel with AP? or i might get denied at POE?

do they randomly deny people at entry or is it a risk just for people that might look "suspicious"?

i don't know if the length of the vacation matters but ill be outside of the US for about 3 weeks visiting my family in my home country.

Never completely safe, bit I would have put it a lot safer than travelling to Israel.

is it completely safe to travel with AP? Nothing is completely safe. or i might get denied at POE? Never heard of anyone getting denied entry when they comply with the rules.

do they randomly deny people at entry or is it a risk just for people that might look "suspicious"? No one gets "randomly" denied reentry with AP - that's against the law. "Looking suspicious" gets you into secondary inspection. Looking suspicious alone is not a valid reason to deny you reentry on AP. There would have to be something more.

i don't know if the length of the vacation matters but ill be outside of the US for about 3 weeks visiting my family in my home country. 3 weeks is fine. Nothing to worry about.

Hi,

It's great that you came to check before leaving.

Have a safe trip. You have nothing to worry about if you leave with the AP card in your hand.

The cases where people have been denied reentry is when they leave before AP is approved. The AOS is automatically abandoned if someone leaves without AP - one done, it's done, the bell can not be unrung. Unaware that the person has left the US, USCIS would subsequently approve AP. Someone in the US would then mail it to the beneficiary abroad. The beneficiary would then try to use AP to reenter the US.

You have nothing to worry about if you leave with the AP card in your hand.

Best of luck
