Its not hard. I'm assuming here you mean adjusting through marriage rather than an employment based application.

The process is the same as adjusting from an H-1B which is what I did. You need to file I-130 and I-485 at the same time and same envelope to the Chicago lockbox. If your O-1 remains valid you don't need to get an EAD or AP, as its dual intent. However if you want to change jobs or your O-1 expires, you should apply for EAD and AP as well.

You'll need to get a medical done as well with a USCIS certified civil surgeon.

For me the process took about 6 months from start to finish, but it can longer, or shorter depending on a few factors.
