No Welcome Letter...

Hey everyone

I just mainly wanted to say thank you to everyone that helped me on VJ to prepare me for this interview, I went to my interview yesterday and honestly it was the easiest part of the whole process :)

But now my question is once I got approved and they told me my visa will be in the mail I never recieved a welcome letter as I heard from ppl on VJ they recieved one after interview

If it's not important to have then it's fine but I'm curious if it is or am I missing something??

You will receive the welcome letter once your Green Card is approved. You will first enter the U.S., then get married, and then file for AOS, so it'll be a couple of months from now. For now, congrats on getting the K1 visa approved!

If u don't mind answering another one I was wondering

Since I was born in Iran but I came to Canada since I was one years old and now I'm going to America to be with my fiancé do u know if I can still keep my citizenship in Canada?

Yes you will keep your Canadian citizenship as long as you live unless you choose to renounce it. Even getting US citizenship does not migrate the fact you are a Canadian citizen.
