Question on NOA1

So I got an email my I-129F care package was delivered 10/23. I get an email 10/28 it was accepted. NOA1 came to me in mailbox 11/2.

So, that is that history. The NOA1 paper states nothing for me to do. The USCIS website, using my receipt number, says to follow the instructions on the receipt. Umm, there are none.

I figured I be waiting for NOA2, or RFE because they want to stall or want more money. I just figured I ask about this. The letter just states what I already know. The website says this:

"On October 23, 2015, we received your Form I-129F, Petition for Fiance(E), Receipt Number WACBLABLA, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by November 22, 2015, please call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address."

So, do you think I just keep waiting for something magically delicious to happen, or should I call stating that I got no directions?

You just wait at this point.

I would suggest starting to at least think about getting things together that you will need for your fiance's interview

That is a standard letter for NOA 1, just a receipt notice. Wait for NOA2 - the approval.

TBone, seriously, how many sub-forums you got in this place? Here is another question... is there a subforum you wish you had that does not yet exist? I just keep thinking I am posting in the right place, of I just got this spot always in mind.

cristina16, yes, thank you. The only reason I see a RFE is they are stalling or want more money. Or the fact I have banks having lawyers trying to milk me for school loan dues I can not afford since layoff (where the banks refused to help for 5 years). Other than that, am praying!!!!

I think I am now feeling the stress of waiting.

You could have 12 RFEs and mailing fee for the the solicited stuff is all you'd pay. If provided before hand no issue.

You are right, fees are fixed at this stage.

I was actually expecting an RFE for something I am sure off but didn't get any. If you receive an RFE then just respond to it, and if you read the RFE forum there are RFEs for some docs that they already submitted. nothing to do but to resubmit

So, just have to deal with possible mailing fees? Well, that is better than $300 again. I thought I read a few times they would re-charge to re-run the application.
