I had a I-129f approved on 24 June 2015 but I had to submit a letter to the embassy to cancel the K-1 visa because the beneficiary did not want to attend the interview. Our relationship is now over. The USCIS website says the I-129f automatically expires in 4 months. Next month I plan to submit another I-129f for my new fiance. Do I still need to contact them to make sure it is cancelled so I can submit a new one?

It is definitely best to submit a letter requesting that the petition be closed. I had a similar situation and my case sat still open at the embassy more than a year later. Email the embassy a copy of your withdrawal request and also email and mail the letter to the NVC and the USCIS service center which originally approved your petition.

Yes....and expect some scrutiny since the two petitions are so close together.

So, the K-1 is not a let's get to know each other visa, it is a visa for couples that have established a legitimate relationship and then decide they want to marry and permanently reside in the US.

So, you had that first legitimate relationship but it ended in June, 2015.

Added Note: Just looked at your previous posts and you discovered your first fiance was a scammer just this past September, 2015.

Now it's November, 2015 and you have a new legitimate relationship?

Just seems kind of quick. Be prepared to extra scrutiny, actually the beneficiary will face that at the interview........

I'm not saying anything is wrong, its just kind of quick.

Yes you need to make sure it was cancelled or they will deny the next one since you already have one "in the system".
