hi.. can I make a new DS 160 even I'm already made my appointment interview?

Yes.    Simple print out the new confirmation page and bring it to the interview.   Toss the old confirmation page.

Visa chase and citizenship.. DONE!

Hi all (F) !

Hope everyone is having a good day.. or night!

I have called US Embassy yesterday and have scheduled my interview on Dec. 7th. My fiancee and I were hoping to schedule it within November but the embassy said they don't have any open slot for this month anymore.

I have already filled out the DS-160 but havent clicked "SIGN" yet because there are some questions that I'm unsure of what answer to put in there. I have called the US Embassy and asked the customer service for help but she declined..

So I am here again.. I need your help to make me understand.. pretty please. I just want to make sure that I am not just putting unnecessary answers to questions that I don't even need to answer.

1. Marital Status - my previous marriage was already annulled but the drop down from that question doesn't have the word "Annulled" in the list. Will it be safe to click on "DIVORCED" or "OTHERS" instead? - SINGLE, an annulment declares a marriage declared void ab initio,( from the beginning) there the marriage did not take place.

2. National Identification Number - should I just put my Tax Identification Number here? - Yes, i used TIN or SSS will also do

3. Passport Book Number - I'm lost. I know that this is different from the passport number. NOT APPLICABLE, Philippines passports has no book no.

4. US Point of contact info - Fiancee? My mom told me we have relatives living in the states but she doesn't even know their names (lol) so maybe it is safe to click "no"? - Fiance

5. Vaccinations - should I just click Yes and just refer to St. Luke's documentations after my medical? - correct

6. Other names used - I dont have any aliases but how about my married name? I used my ex husband's family name when my marriage was not yet annulled. - write your previous married name

I am kinda confused (yet, again).. maybe I am just nervous and I am scared that my application will be denied just because I did not understand and I made a mistake. I put everything to the best of my knowledge in that form and I just want to make sure that I understood every questions before I click "Sign".

Thank you in advance!

Hello,  I know this is last year's post, but may I know if this holds true for the latest visa application at the US Embassy Manila. I read different at at times conflicting posts regarding DS160.  A little background of my concern, and please reply if I TRULY NEED TO REDO- SUBMIT ANOTHER DS160  (ibefore my interview this end of Feb, 2018.  1. mother's birth year was entered 1956- instead of 1936,  2.  passport issued was MANILA-instead of DFA ASEANA , CITY is PARANAQUE  3.  MACAU was not entered in the country I visited because it was included as a side trip tour for a  Hong Kong package. 4. very first passport of 1994 was I think kept by my mother (deceased), I never had US Visa, never applied for one, and never been to US. (what should I answer in that DS 160 question for lost/stolen passport) 5.  For my K2, i also typed Manila--instead of DFA NCR SOUTH for place of issue of passport.

Hello,  may I ask what did you decide to do about your DS 160 during your interview last year at the US Embassy Manila?

I paid, and scheduled my interview, but I feel that my DS 160 which I already submitted had minor lapses.

Place of issue - MANILA is just fine.  They don't need exact location, city is just fine.

As for the the typo on your mothers birth date YEAR, this is minor (CO can correct minor typos in the DS-160 if needed)-   Simply mention this to the CO during the interview, he/she can correct it without issue.   If it were me I don't see reason to complete a new DS-160.
