Yes, unfortunately processing of your I-765 application (and your I-131, if you filed one) will be paused until USCIS receives your response to the RFE. The 90 days processing time limit for the I-765 is extended by the number of days between the RFE request being sent and your response being received.

Thanks elf, I file concurrent I 130, I 485 and I 765 parent of a US CITIZEN.

Okay, but what visa did you use to enter the US? Did you come in as a tourist, or on an employment-based visa, or something else?

I asked which visa you entered the US on so that I would know which forum I should move your post to :) Although the outcome is the same (a green card) there are small differences in the adjustment process depending on which visa someone is adjusting from, and it's less confusing for everyone if we keep everything in the right place.
