Not sure about this one, I think its good to know people can cause effective change and such.I think this is a scary proponent to the argument that college sports/fb in particular is too much credence on the university governance.

I didnt see any violence or crazyness and not sure what actual things people would have wanted done so differently.

What happens if a team is 5-7. Can students/teachers protest classes to oust the Coach?

They were also mad, that when an Angry mob surrounded his car, he would not get out and chat, and called security.

Also appears some random student made a racist remark and another put a swastika on a wall in a dorm.

The students used the only power they had and leveraged their influence. It's their college after all.

I'm sure the FB players have some sort of contractual obligation to play.They get scholarships. They can choose not to play but then they would not only be forfeiting the game but their enrollment. Teachers get paid to teach and not just cancel classes on their own personal whims....to change their curriculum and have 'teach ins'.

Mizzou is a state school not a private one. Its not 'their school'.

What did people want specifically. For them to clean up the walls and scream while they did it? I dont have any vested interest in Mizzou nor their ex Prez. While I have no doubts it could have been 'handled' better. No ones suggested what real tangible things those would have been.
