I'm allergic to the Nair and the other cream stuff. I break out in a horrible rash no matter how I do it.

My sister in law had her legs lasered... she loves it. I don't think it was that expensive as she had it done for an XMas present from her hubby, and they don't have a whole lot of money. *shrugs* but I don't really know.

I'd like to figure something out. My belly is getting so big with baby that it's hard to shave my legs in the shower anymore :P

Make the hubby do it!!

:lol: he actually volunteered last night. When I told him about this convo and that I want to find something to do so I don't have to shave everyday and how hard it's getting, he was all "I'll do it for you." Just all matter of fact like it was perfectly natural. hehehe I have the most awesome husband! (L)

I've thought about trying that brazilian wax...several girls at work rave about it. I have dark hair, so any little bit shows up on me in a major way. Sigh, I SOOOOO hate shaving....

Well, it HURTS like a mother in certain areas, I was brave and didn't make any noise though! The worst is the tweezing of leftover hairs....I told her to leave them after a minute! It was an experience .......

oh my god. the girls here just told me what that was..< brazilian wax >.

I thought it was some kind of special wax. dayum ohh no wax is going there. :huh:

where?? :whistle::whistle:

It does hurt in certain areas but it's not like u're gonna die :blush: Try it and u'll love the hair-free feeling! :yes:

The worst is the tweezing of leftover hairs....

:yes::yes::lol::wacko::blink::yes:

In the middle of the "triangle" is where it hurt the worst, she even said it was the worst part. Near my legs it wasn't so bad, and farther on back :whistle: wasn't horrible. But right in that middle part...OWEE!

I'm one of those people who just can't handle Nair. -_- It's a messy, unpleasant affair and I find that I end up with more irritation in my skin than missing hair. The smell is also unbearably chemical.

I get my brows waxed and plucked without even blinking. I've tried it once or twice on my legs and bikini area. Whoever said Sally Hanson products are rotten is right -- they didn't do ANYTHING except make me sticky! Ugh, that was a mess no matter how you look at it. Will try the microwave self-waxing unless anyone knows of a cheap place in the western 'burbs of Chicago. $70/wax is too much!

You are right...............................the middle part is the worst-the rest is not bad, but the middle is so super sensitive. When she pulled out the tweezers to get strays I thought "is this chic serious?" she was :lol: she doesn't play around :no:

It is such a clean feeling-I tried shaving a few months ago-disaster, it grows back so fast :huh:

Can anyone who's had the leg-lasering comment on any pain/discomfort?

Also, I would imagine it's a very time-consuming process, but surely they don't have to laser out every individual hair...do they?

pax, i haven't had my legs lasered, only bikini and underarms.. And u can get both done in like 20min...

So im assuming that laser on legs would take 1-1.5hrs... Which is not time consuming compared to how long it would take u to simply wax ur legs, not to mention that u would have to rewax every 1.5mth or so...

For those of you that don't know, laser hits an area the size of a quarter at a time.. So to do example underarms, u would probably need like 4-5 "elastic stings" for each underarm.. Not bad, eh!

Oh and for those of you that get brazilians, do u guys always ask the easthetician to start on a specific side? Like i always ask them to start on the right side, i guess bcz im right handed..
