I find it funny how this subject comes up about once a month if not every other and it gets kicked around because there being so many "IF's" that the Philippines has promulgated on themselves with so many taxes. Oy vey

Just to update everybody and for those wondering how much they will be paying at the airport, this is what happened to my wife just now too. She's a permanent resident and have been here for almost a year.

yes we just checked in and boarded the plane without paying anything, we brought money just in case.

If flying out of Naia, phil travel tax P1620 for all Phil Passport holders are already included in your ticket and P550 terminal fee.

For those flying from Cebu, Cagayan De Iro, other provinces to Mnl you will pay p200 terminal fee or lower depending on the the airport you are flying from. Mostly charge 200.

I really think it depends on what day of the week, what month, if Wednesday is an even or odd day, the time of day and which counter agent checks you in.

Bought 2 one-ways and a rt for me this past July when I brought my family back on CR1/CR2 visas. I paid no terminal fee. It was included in my ticket. They paid P1100. Tickets were purchased from different on-line agents (I think Travelocity and Expedia, but could be wrong.) S one added terminal fee and one didn't.

I, of course did not pay travel tax, they paid 1 1/2 * P1620.

Go figure. Don't know where the P750 terminal fee is coming from. I've paid P550 for the past 3 years.

if you fly with Philippine Airlines, travel tax and terminal fees are already included.

Provincial airports do have 750 pesos terminal fee for international flights. NAIA collects 500 pesos only..

Not true. This Sept. my wife and daughter paid total of P1100 traveling from NAIA on JAL. Tickets purchased in US on Expedia website.
