Hi everyone,

So last night I received a message from USCIS, my AOS case was opened and they gave me 3 receipt numbers, good start I think ?

My concern is, I Poe'd last August 23,2015, the next day I applied for my ssn, using the white paper i94 they gave me at ambassador bridge,Detroit, where I entered, 4 days after my entry, we got married... Then I started my AOS package, I was trying to check my i94 online but it was not found, then my husband called the Cutoms and inquired, unfortunately they were not helpful and they said they can't understand our problem..

So I posted my situation here at VJ and someone advised us to visit our nearest CBP which we did after a week...

At CBP, they told us that since I entered US by car, my record of arrival is not in the system yet because they need to send my records somewhere through mail and it will take around 3 weeks.. Which me and my husband found it strange.. But the guy in CBP said we can come back before my i94 expire..

So then we waited 4 weeks and keep checking u i94 online.. Which still not found, we then came back and talked to CBP again and the lady I talked to was very nice this time and helped me.. She said my i94 number was not in the system that's why it's not found, she then fixed it but...

1. My point of entry date became October instead of August my real Poe

2. My i94 number from the white paper and online were different.

3. My i94 expiration date are the same..

4. I prepared all the forms of my AOS package in my real (white paper stapled in my passport) but not found online i94 but I still printed my online i94 and sent it with my package.

5. My ssn was applied using my first i94

Now I'm worried if this will cause trouble along my way.. I mean my AOS journey.. ?

You could have simply sent in a copy of your paper I-94. You did not need an electronic version print out from online because you had the actual paper I-94 from your entry.

Entries by land still get a paper one. Air and sea entries are all automated > http://www.cbp.gov/travel/international-visitors/i-94-instructions

I should, but I was so confused, seems everybody have their printed i94 online, and I don't have, and the ssn lady told me I need to fix my i94... And when I'm trying to apply for my drivers licence they did not allow me and told me to have my printed i94 because they can't access my paper i94.. Those made me worried, and plus when my husband added me to his account, they asked my social security number and told me it was not in the system yet.. So I thought it's all because of my i94... Ghost! I'm so confused!

Thank you, I successfully applied my drivers licence using my 2 i94's, I hope I won't encounter any trouble in my AOS.. Here in Michigan they need my EAD to change my name in everything so, I hope I'll be approved for that very soon before I can straighten out my ssn.. Thank you
