Another Manila Airport Scam

And I thought the recent tanim bala scam was bad. Makes me worried about ging back to the Philippines in Febuary to get married. My fiance is scared sh** less about security planting a bullet in my bags. She insisted on seeing how I had my luggage locked on Skype before I left last month. She even wanted to sew the outer pocket on my luggage shut when I got there so no one could put anything in it lol. What happened to this guy looks much worse. This makes me really sad because these corrupt people make the Philippines look like a bad place when I know from personal experience many Filipinos are the most friendly caring people you could ever meet (except for a couple taxi drivers that tried to squeeze a few hundred extra pesos out of me). To be honest I thought security at NAIA was the least unpleasent security I went through between that, Hong Kong (the worst and most intrusive) and the US. My fiance says it might be because terminal 3 which I flew into is the newest terminal and might not be as bad as the other ones. When I arrived they stamped my passport no questions asked and I was on my way. When I left it was the same thing except I passed through a couple metal detectors.
