Hello, all!

Our interview is tomorrow. I just want to know if they will allow me to have someone accompany us in the interview as I have a minor with me, my one year old. Do they allow that? I was thinking of bringing my mom (not an applicant) with me as I might have a hard time during the interview. My son is really active.

Thanks for all your help and offer a prayer for us to have a successful interview. Thanks :)

Don't drug your child. They are aware of it.

I took my 2 year old to the consulate in Montreal. He was running around, and playing with the toys and books in the play area. (Not sure if consulates in other countries have that or not) The officer who interviewed me told me that they are aware of kids. And they let them run around and play, since it's most boring place for kids.

By the way, I did take my parents with me to accompany me in the line outside the consulate. But not for inside.

Minors must be accompanied for the interview, but do not answer questions that they are asked.

The US Citizen/Sponsor can be present as well and is a plus for the interview, others probably since its not behind a closed door/room, but at a counter...

Minor's who are immigrating must be at the interview. They can and will be asked questions whereupon they are obligated to answer the questions from the CO as they are under oath.
