Hello, my husband (american) and me (costa rican) would like to request a Visa to go to live to the U.S. ASAP, his grandmother has lupus and her health is getting worse... We have 2 kids, our son is 4 years old and our daughter is 10 months old, we got married in june and we are not to sure of what we should do since we need to travel soon, we are also afraid of requesting the incorrect visa or not being able to get it in a short period of time. Please advice....

hi

there is no such thing as a quick visa to come to live in the US, immigration processes take time

you can try a tourist visa to visit, but to live here, your husband has to petition for you in order to get a GC and that takes time

longer than you would like to, but he can come first, reestablish his ties to here, get a job and file for you, and then in over a year you can come

are your children USC?

Yes they're both american, I've heard there are some special cases where you can expedite the process... I don't have a tourist visa, I don't think I'm able to get one since I'm not even working right now...

hi

you can expedite if the petitioner is sick or some grave issue, but to have a family member, that is not a motive, since it's his grandmother and he is the USC, he can leave to see her whenever he wants to, he can come and go as he pleases, you can wait until the process is complete

you can try to get a tourist visa, that's the best you can do
