Hi wanted to ask u guys can loans be used as annual income or not ? My husband has student loans and we were wondering if we should do that or have a joint sponsor that was our Plan A?

I am not sure I understand; a loan is not regular income, in fact it is the opposite- a liability you will need to pay back.

Yes my first though was that we need a joint sponsor and can not use that ,but in the I864 instructions says that interest income can be used as income? So i am confused!!' Help me

I am still not sure I understand what you are asking. Are you saying your husband is a student, got a huge student loan, the money is now sitting in his account, and you want to use the interest from that money as income on the I-864?

Or are you saying your husband loaned someone else money to go studying, and that other person is paying interest?

Yes the first option is correct ! my husband got a loan .

No you cannot use the interest from his student loan.

You need a joint sponsor or your husband needs a job that pays over the poverty guidelines.
