Wrong spelling for green card?

Hello. I don't know if this is the right forum but please bear with me.

I received my green card today and noticed that my middle name is lacking 2 letters? Is this considered a wrong spelling or is it just because my name's too long? It is a 11 lettered name.

i think you should contact the concerned department for this and let them know about the matter.. they will guide you better..

This happens semi-regularly. I would contact USCIS and let them know. You can always telephone the (mis)information line and request to speak to an Immigration Officer. Realistically, though, it's unlikely to cause you any significant issues. Still, better to err on the side of caution with such things!

My POE is sep.20 till now I don't receive iT.my husband called USCIS last week to track it but the number they gave us is invalid.Urs is 10yr. Gc???I'm worried of mine now,.,??

It's a 2yr GC. We didn't call USCIS so I dont think Im knowledgeable about your situation.

Maybe yours is longer because it's IR1. Dont worry, Im sure it'll come sooner or later.

Mine is LAX. We paid it a day before I left Pinas.
