So even with the Hurricane and all, I got my GC last Friday. Only 2 weeks after my interview as some of you indicated (even though the IO said it would take up to 3 months for my card to arrive). I couldn't be more happy to get over this process, well at least for the next 2 years until removal of conditions. Best of luck for all who are still waiting! Hang in there!!

I received my GC last friday 9 days after the interview. The IO didn't say we were approved he just said interview is over we just wait from the mail. We were approved the same day. My GC indicate that I am Resident since 10/05/2016. Thanks God my waiting is over!

In san diego everything OK nothing crazy to be nervous... our case got frustated because THEY lost my husband medical examination... thats all... now we are on hold got a rfe and need to do the medical again!... just have all the docs that is in your interview appt letter...

Heads up, finally after all this waiting we got approved, and card is being produced...

Long wait but stress and frustation are gone!

Hello everyone,so after waiting for a year I get to have my interview 12/14. But I am freaking out right now because I fear I may get an RFE for expired medicals. What they have on file is the one for my K-1visa which they took at POE. Did anyone get approved after medicals stayed over a year here? Just need a little hope.

Hi, We filed Nov 2015 and went to our interview Dec 2016 but no decision was made and we were given an RFE.  We replied to it and sent additional bank statements (all the way back from 2012) 12/21. The system shows they received our RFE evidence but no updates since. I submitted a service request but still  no change. 

 

At this point we are looking to contact our senator but I have a question about filling out the form. Should the beneficiary or the petitioner sign it since the registration number that will be on the form is suppose to be the beneficiaries? 

 

I just want to make sure we are doing it correctly.

I just received sms regarding my i485 status changed to "New Card being procedued". What does it mean? Is someone playing with uscis system? @.@

we got an RFE after our interview in December. they received the RFE Dec 27. Nothing since then. Interview was in houston which I understand is very slow

What was your RFE for? 

 

Houston here too.  Praying we hear something soon. The long wait is excruciating!   I emailed my senator but haven't heard anything back. Not even an email.

RFE was for new medical as the one I had on file was expired.

I submitted a service request for it and just got a reply:

 

"On March 1, 2017, your inquiry about why your case is taking longer than our processing time, referral number SR******, was assigned to an officer for response."

 

I checked my email and here is their response. 

 

"USCIS has reviewed your Service Request.  According to USCIS records, you contacted USCIS concerning the status of your I485 application. Our system shows that your application is currently pending Immigration Service Officer action or decision. At this time, we anticipate you should receive a decision or other notice from USCIS within 60 to 90 days of this notice.  Please be advised that posted processing times are goals based on Field Office averages. These goals are subject to change and can vary from office to office.  We apologize for any inconvenience caused by delays in processing."

 

 

 It has been 70 days today since we submitted their additional request for evidence and now we have to wait an additional 60-90 days for a decision.  

 

I just want to cry.

We are still waiting on our 485 in Boston. There have been no updates to our case since 12/30/2015 when they received our response to the RFE. We have been working with a congressman since the summer and he told us our case was transferred to NJ and they should 'hopefully' have an update by MAY. 

 

We had to renew the EAD/AP because they expired March 10th.

511 days from our priority date, 111 days after our interview and response to RFE, we finally received a text that our card is in production and our case was approved! Glory to God!! It's been an exhausting and overwhelming journey and I will continue to pray for those of you who are still waiting approval. I know exactly how you feel! You are not alone!!

Is anyone else from Nov 2015 still waiting on their Green Card? We finally had our interview on May 2nd, in which we were told they were just waiting on final fingerprint checks and then the case would be approved. Now almost 2 months later we still haven't heard anything.

Not even sure if anyone from Nov 2015 are still waiting, but our status just changed to card being produced on Sept 19th. 22 month process for us!
