:crying::crying::crying:

I've been waiting for more than 4 months after the interview because they handed me the continuation notice that the case is being reviewed. I just saw that the field office is processing cases up to Dec 15th 2015 and mine was sent on Nov 30th. I don't even know. I just called them and submitted a case inquiry yesterday and they said they would reply by mail in the next 2-4 weeks :cry:

Our interview in USCIS Miami office was very fast and painless. Even though we know we did everything right and that the rules were complied with, you can't help the nervousness on the interview day. The agent made us swear in, asked about the type of house we lived in (rented or owned), asked if we had any additional proof of bona fide wedding (I took several additional pictures and other evidences on top of all those that were already filled initially) and just went through the standard questions with me (i.e. if you plan on doing espionage, if you have been arrested, if you have military training, etc etc etc). After that, she stamped APPROVED in our process and said "Welcome to the United States!". I couldn't be more happy!!! :dancing::dancing: On the same day, the status in the UCSIS site already changed to "Card into production". The agent said it would take up to 3 months for the card to arrive. I hope it doesn't take that long bc we planned to travel abroad for the Holidays. Let's see. How long did it take for the card to arrive after the approval in your cases??

Overall the process took a little longer than anticipated (10 months) but it was very straight forward and painless. I guess it doesn't hurt to be over prepared and careful in gathering all the documents. I wish the best of luck to those who are still waiting for the interview.

No in our case we weren't approved on spot . They just told us to wait for their decision in the mail. It has been 3 months since the interview with no response. I guess we have to wait for the processing times in newark NJ

Me & my husband went for interview today at 12nn at Federal Plaza. Our lawyer got there earlier and he took all our original documents, my passport and my husband's driver's license. We waited for 45 minutes before we were called by an Asian IO. Our lawyer told me we need to know everything about each other. My husband told me to relax and not to get nervous. I was relaxed and confident that whatever the IO asked me I can answer it. What was funny was my husband was the one who are very nervous. The IO asked my husband who are the petitioner about our home address, my full name, my parent's name, & my present job. He answered all the questions but he missed the apt number on our address. Then the IO asked what's the apt number and he said 3 and it's 4 :-(, I can feel that he was very nervous. Then the IO asked me about my husband's birthday, I answered then looked at him and asked about my birthday but instead of saying my birthday he said his birthday! I was like OMG we're in trouble. Then the IO asked him what's my birthday! And he answered then the IO asked for photos and I put all the photo books and photo albums that we have on his table. But he said he just need one picture. I was like really?? And he didn't even look at the photos. I brought 5 photobooks & 2 albums. Then he checked & checked on the paper infront of him and asked me if I have been arrested etc. He didn't even asked where did we met. Then he print out a letter and gave it to us and said we'll receive a letter from the mail. The letter said our case was held for review. Outside the room our lawyer told us that he didn't think there's a problem. He said I should receive a letter saying Welcome to America. I wasn't really happy because we're not sure if we passed or not. Then after like 10 minutes I received a notification from USCIS that my status have changed. When I checked it said on oct 5, 2016, your new card is being produced, that's when my husband and I were so happy that we know that we passed! Before I was telling my husband that probably the IO noticed that he was nervous that's why we didn't get approved on the spot. So now I can go to sleep happy and I'll expect for the next notification that my card has been mail to me. Good luck to everyone that still waiting. I think prayers help a lot too!

Get your local Congressman involved. They can represent you and enquire directly to USCIS (you have to sign a release form giving them permission to act on your behalf), plus USCIS HAVE to respond to them. At the very least you can find out what stage your case is at, and Congressman enquries often give them a nudge to get things moving.

They replied to my SR with a standard response. I'm just so sick of waiting for this. I even postponed finding a new job until now because I thought I could get my green card now just so that they don't reject my file while I'm employed because it will look bad on my resume especially if I like that company...
