Card Was Mailed To Me

On January 27, 2016, we mailed your new card for Receipt Number MSCxxxxxxxxxx, to the address you gave us. If you do not receive your card by February 26, 2016, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request that we send your new card to you. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

I put an "expedite service request" not a normal one and there is a reasoning of "significant financial loss", next day the expedition request was "assigned to an officer", then the same day said "completed" and the same day I received an email from USCIS asking me to fax over my exact offer letter that states my starting date. I sent that yesterday but still 2 days now and nothing has changed. But I strongly advise you do the same maybe you have more chances. I hope that helps although I still have no EAD :,(

I hate when they said "will"... It means not soon??maybe..???

Okay I'm going to have meeting with my employer on this Sunday.

I'm going to explain about the job offer letter and I will get the job offer letter for it.

12/23/2015 case status I-485 has changed on the USCIS website by receipt number (ready to be scheduled for an interview )

01/20/2015 I put service request for I-765

01/23/2015 The service request has been assigned to an officer for response and completed.

Hey guys, just thought I would also share my timeline and the recent evolutions of my case...

10/16/2015 : Got married at the court house in NYC

11/07/2015 : Sent AOS package to the Chicago physical address (not the lockbox): I-485, I-130, I-131, I-765

11/09/2015 : Receipt from USPS that package has been delivered

11/16/2015 : Received text msg notifications of receipt for the 4 forms

11/17/2015 : Both checks cashed by USCIS

11/21/2015 : Received 4 NOA1 by mail

11/26/2015 : Received biometrics appointment letter in the mail

12/10/2015 : Biometrics appointment completed

01/23/2016 : Day 75, case still pending

01/25/2016 : Called USCIS, service request was logged by the person on the phone without any issue

01/26/2016 : Received email saying that EAD Card/ Document is in prodution Production

01/26/2016 : Received email saying that AP is approved

01/27/2016 : Received email saying that EAD is approved

01/28/2016: Case tracker updated for EAD: "On January 28, 2016, your inquiry about the status of your Employment Authorization application, referral number XX, was assigned to an officer for response."

Seeing what all of you posted, I'm hoping that my EAD will be mailed in the next few days. I am just very confused at the last update they did on my case on the tracker: why would they tell me TODAY that they assigned an officer to my EAD, while I received the approval notice 2 days ago?? I'm hoping it's just some of the weird stuff USCIS does...

I think that your ead is approved already but just now the service request that you put in earlier was assigned to an officer for review but of course that won't be needed since you got already the approval! That shows how disjointed the USCIS processes are... Mind blowing!!! But I think you are good to go since its approved already. If I were you I would just give them a call to confirm that and clarify their inefficiencies. Congrats btw!

Thank you! Well since this morning 2 new notifications arrived in the case tracker:

On January 28, 2016, we sent a response to your inquiry about the status of your Employment Authorization application, referral number XX.

and then:

On January 28, 2016, your inquiry about the status of your Employment Authorization application, referral number XX, was completed.

So, whatever that possibly means, but since I was notified 3 days ago that my card is in production, I assume that it's all good. A bit mind blowing indeed!!

Agreed! They have the most confusing notification system ever! As if the process isn't stressful enough and they make it even more vague and confusing! Fingers crossed for all the rest of us that still waiting.... ??

I can't remember the answer to this but can I call (I'm the petitioner) in a service request for my husband's EAD or does he have to call?

If I don't hear anything tomorrow on my online service request tomorrow, one of us is going to call.

The status says:

As of January 26, 2016, your inquiry about the status of your Employment Authorization application, referral number SRxxxxxxxMSC, is currently not assigned for processing.

I know it's only been two days, but there are too many opportunities that came up for him that he cannot miss out on

I would suggest your husband apply for the jobs that he desires. My husband has only filled out a few applications, but so far, they did not ask for his SSN at this stage, and one allowed us to add explanation on the box asking if he currently had authorization to work in the US. We included the date the EAD was submitted and that if offered the job, it could be expedited within a week. By the time he gets an interview, he may have the EAD, so it may be a moot point. Nothing is preventing him from applying for jobs now.

Signature coming soon...

The "not assigned for processing" means nothing. I had the same thing in the case tracker right after I called them last Monday, and on Tuesday morning it said that my EAD card was in production. Today at lunch time (Thursday), the case tracker said that my inquiry was assigned to an officer (see my post above).

Now that is not what an attorney told us? Where does it say that your other applications are put on hold?

When I called them they said that the RFE only applies to the AOS. So I did the online request on the website for my EAD and got an Email where it says that all my Applications are on hold till I have provided requested documents required in the RFE.

Hi Everyone!

This is my first post in this thread. I've been following it, to see how everyone else's cases are progressing.

I've been noticing that some of you are getting updates to your case. We submitted our AOS/EAD packet on November 20. NOA1 November 24. Biometrics December 21. But NOTHING has changed on our case tracker on USCIS.gov it still just says "case received" for both AOS and EAD.

Ours never changed to fingerprint fee or anything. Is this normal? Day 75 will be on February 6 for us.

Thanks,

Cody
