Sure! So guys I got an RFE because my Hausband's Tax Return and w2 from 2014 was missing for The Additive of Support. Please not that when You get an RFE all Other Applications Are on hold until you have Sent The requested documents for The RFE.

I'm a little confused based on reading other people's experiences.

Earlier today I got a notification that my EAD was approved and they will mail me a notice about it. But there are many of you here that state that your EAD status then also changed to "card being produced" or "card mailed". So I'm confused about that. Is there a difference between "EAD approved" and "EAD card produced/mailed". Could someone clarify the process once the notification changes to 'approved'?

Also for the record for those of you thinking of filing for request - it took me 7 days from the time of filing a service request to getting this approval notice today. Definitely worth doing if you are over or near your 75 day period - mine was 82 days total.

Here is my process so hopefully it helps you guys out!

1/19/16: Service request done in morning for EAD. By end of day it said completed.

1/20/16 (early afternoon): We ordered your new card for EAD case.

1/20/16: Later that day the status updated again to say approved. The AP then also updated within an hour or two and said approved. After this AP did not change again.

1/22/16: We mailed your new card. I did not get a tracking number.

1/27/16: Card was delivered. For some odd reason they gave me a tracking number here, but the card had already been delivered lol.

so we are still waiting for the tax papers to be mailed for our joint sponsor... its been over 2 weeks and still nothing. frustrating.

I believe if you have a job offer you can file a request to expedite your EAD. We only filed a service request because we were at day 76, we didn't file a request to expedite.

I'm not sure how you go about that, but I know there have been some posts here with info on how to do that.

Oh I would like to get the information of a request to expedite.

I just call USCIS to be able to submit a request expedite.

They said my situation is not super emergency ,so I have to wait 30days to put anothe service request.

For me .....it is emergency!!!!!!!!!??????

I have a job offer that I have signed for starting date in 2 weeks time and put an service request for expedition on Monday and although it change to "assigned" and later in the day to "completed", nothing has happened. I received an email though from USCIS requesting to fax them the job offer itself which I did yesterday so I'm praying to god something will change.

I didn't put service request for expedited things...

I just put normal service request.

I hope that you can get EAD soon.

last night i filed another request as per advice in this forum. i filed my card didnt receive and this morning i got following update. i was hoping to get it by friday in order to get discounted tuition from my college but looks like it will arrive monday or so hope college understands this issue.

I put an "expedite service request" not a normal one and there is a reasoning of "significant financial loss", next day the expedition request was "assigned to an officer", then the same day said "completed" and the same day I received an email from USCIS asking me to fax over my exact offer letter that states my starting date. I sent that yesterday but still 2 days now and nothing has changed. But I strongly advise you do the same maybe you have more chances. I hope that helps although I still have no EAD :,(
