Hey guys so my EAD is finally approved!! I submitted service request Monday morning and my case status is just changed to "New Card Is Being Produced"!!! I guess it does help :) Finally relived now until the GC comes!

08/13/2013 Came to the US on F1 visa

09/26/2013 Met my husband

11/03/2013 Started dating

03/11/2015 Got married at the court house

10/23/2015 Medical exam done

11/04/2015 AOS package mailed out by USPS priority (I130 & I145 concurrent filing)

11/06/2015 Packaged delivered to Chicago Lockbox

11/13/2015 Both checks cashed by USCIS

11/15/2015 Received text msg notification of receipts of I765, I131, I130 and I485

11/19/2015 Received NOA in mail

11/20/2015 Received biometrics appointment letter in the mail

12/04/2015 Biometrics appointment completed

12/09/2015 Case ready to be scheduled for interview

01/25/2016 Submitted online service request for EAD

01/27/2016 I765 case status updated to "New Card Being Produced"

01/28/2016 EAD officially approved and card has been mailed

02/03/2016 EAD/AP combo card received in the mail. YAY!

Congrats!!!!

Me too my EAD is finally approved!!!!!, I submitted request yesterday afternoon and my case status just changed to EAD/AP approved, but nothing for my AOS... thanks God.

visa received: September, 24, 2015

POE: October,5,2015

AOS/EAD/AP: October 29,2015 

EAD/AP approved:01/26/2016 card received: 02/02/2016

ROC/CITIZENSHIP/Passport-refer to my timeline...

Congrats!! We submitted a request yesterday too, early in the morning, but I haven't heard anything yet. There a few really good jobs listed he wants to apply for but is worried to do that before he has his EAD in hand.

04/15/2016 - Received email "On March 16, 2016 your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence was approved.We have reviewed our electronic records and found that your Permanent Resident Card (PRC) is already in production." (NO INTERVIEW)

05/05/2016 - Another online service request asking status of PRC

05/18/2016 - Received email saying file was in Sacramento, not Pittsburgh, and it was not approved yet. WHAT?!?!

05/20/2016 - Status changed online to "On May 16, 2016, we ordered your new card"

05/23/2016 - USCIS status change - "On 05/23/2016, we mailed your new card" (text & email)

05/24/2016 - USCIS status change - "On 05/24/2016, USPS picked up your new card" w/ tracking info (text & email)

05/26/2016 - Received card in mail

I had the same problem. I just did a walk-in to redo the fingerprints. Maybe try that to have it at least a little faster.

They don't confirm biometrics if it's that what you mean. Still waiting on my EAD/AP but I got a RFE and it depends on that.

Oh okay. I'm quite paranoid coz my biometrics didnt look good too the 2nd time.. i guess i just have to wait for another month and see if they would want me to do another one :( Anyway, thanks for answering my last concern. Good luck to all of us :)

Guys! How long did it take for your EAD to be mailed after the status is changed to "new card is being produced"? I know I'm really impatient lol Doesn't feel completely safe until I have the physical card in hand!
