If you go to the case status of the case you filed the request for it will show on the left side under case history.

where can i check the update regarding the case status request? I only got a confirmation number after i filed the service request starting SRxxxxxxxxxxxMSC. but when i search with this number it says wrong number.

Oh yea I have a uscis account. I'm not sure if there is another way to check the status of the service request.

do i have to sign up for an account at uscis web page? because regular case status page doesnt have history on the left side.

i opened an accnt as well.

checked the history and it says below, so should i expect a response in the email?

That is what mine said yesterday evening and then I got the text/email this afternoon saying that the status was approved/new card produced. The online account reflected that when I checked as well. As long as you have the email and text notifications on you should receive it hopefully tomorrow!

11/23/2015 received NOA 4text/emails

11/27/2015 received NOA 4letters

12/7/2015 received biometrics appointment letter(app12/15/2015)

12/15/2015 taken finger prints/photo (done bio)

12/23/2015 case status I-485 has changed on the USCIS website by receipt number (ready to be scheduled for an interview )

01/20/2015 I put service request for I-765

01/23/2015 The service request has been assigned to an officer for response and completed.

02/10/2015 EAD/AP was approved.

02/12/2015 USCIS EAD/AP CARD mailed me.(2/16updated on website )

It told me the same (feb 10th I believe). I did it yesterday morning. By the end of day yesterday it said assigned to an officer and completed. Today I got the text saying new card is being produced. Don't be discouraged! Most others posts have said it has taken 2-5 max days to hear a response from a service request.

We have a lawyer through AOS (as it was included with the K1 fee). She filed a service request on Tuesday, and I can see on the USCIS site that it was assigned and resolved on Tuesday. I'm hoping to hear something from her today, but the status on the case has still not changed. Fingers crossed the EAD gets approved today or tomorrow, as there is job posting that would be great for my husband, but leary to post and interview if he cant accept the job if offered.

I'm getting a little nervous about when they'll schedule our interview. I have a mandatory business trip from March 2-12 and with my luck.... it'll be scheduled when I'm gone.

At least I only have 5 days before I can file a service request for the EAD... my husband is going insane sitting at home all day.

Hey friends. I need some advice

I called USCIS a week ago and they put in a service request since I still don't even have biometrics appt

I got an email yesterday from my local office saying they can't do anything since the file is still at missouri service center.

Do you think I should call that service center? I'm kind of confused about what I'm supposed to do.

4/21/2016 - Got green card! :) No immigration worries til 2018!

ahahaha i just got my interview status update too!! are you adjusting from a visitor visa? If so, you are always guaranteed an interivew:/ annoying, i know! i waited 2.5 years to file my paperwork as well! LOL! I am waiting on the EAD as well.. so frusting!! At least we get a 10 year and don't need to file more paperwork to remove conditions.

On January 20, 2016, we scheduled you for your interview and mailed you an interview notice for Receipt Number MSC169xxxxxx Your interview is on February 23, 2016. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your interview notice by February 19, 2016, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

I woke up this morning to find this notification. I am happy that I will be in the interview soon, though I was hoping I was not going to need an interview since I have been married for over 3 years. But oh well! I guess not matter how long I have been married for, I have to prove that my union is legitimate. I hope my daughter makes a strong case.

My EAD like many of your cases, its still pending in the initial notification. I am hoping that in the next upcoming days it will get approved and sent to me, I really need it!

That sounds awful! If you are in texas, good luck! i hear its all backlogged there:/ nothing you can really do except wait. of course, i would try calling but it probably won't do any good.

I'm actually in new jersey so I have no idea why they sent my stuff to missouri. I'm just super paranoid they actually lost my paperwork and they're just wasting more of my time. Oh well... yeah, I was going to call but apparently the national benefits centre or whatever it's called doesn't even take phone calls. It's so stupid!

Congratulations on getting a date for your interview, I wish you good luck :)
