Heads up to November filers, you can file a service request over the phone when you have passed the 75 day mark for the EAD, what I've seen in our October group some will get fast approvals on AP/EAD card, hindsight some of us filed service requests at the 90 day mark or later. When the request was made approval were within 2 days. So those of you that don't get early approvals watch your receipt date and call after 75 days, it will force them to look at you EAD. Good luck

I think the earliest from nov filers would file a service request not before than 19th january (receipt notice 4th nov)

75 days for me would be Feb 7th. I'll keep this in mind, but I hope we hear sooner!

So if we don't hear anything by the 26th, I can call on the 27th. I hope we don't have to wait that long though, this is stressful enough... plus, trying to figure out how to file taxes this year. My head may explode. :\

04/15/2016 - Received email "On March 16, 2016 your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence was approved.We have reviewed our electronic records and found that your Permanent Resident Card (PRC) is already in production." (NO INTERVIEW)

05/05/2016 - Another online service request asking status of PRC

05/18/2016 - Received email saying file was in Sacramento, not Pittsburgh, and it was not approved yet. WHAT?!?!

05/20/2016 - Status changed online to "On May 16, 2016, we ordered your new card"

05/23/2016 - USCIS status change - "On 05/23/2016, we mailed your new card" (text & email)

05/24/2016 - USCIS status change - "On 05/24/2016, USPS picked up your new card" w/ tracking info (text & email)

05/26/2016 - Received card in mail

Just letting everyone know because a lot of us could have got approvals earlier, just passing it on, not everyone in the group will get early approvals. There's no use in waiting when you can call at 75 days and rattle their chain.

this is a good info, absolutely we shouldnt wait if not received within the 75 dys.
