Yeah, I have got an RFE, too regarding our I-485. They need a complete submitted Federal income tax return to the IRS from my husband... ?><<@#@

It doesn't affect to get my EAD as soon as possible, right?

I sent mine out 11/26 and i received my Biometrics letter on Friday for 12/30. However, thanks to everyone here I went for a walk-in apointment and the first USCIS place was packed and they wouldnt take me, but i drove 20 miles away and I went to a different USCIS place and they took me! So biometrics are completed 12/21, less than a month after I filed which I figure is super quick:) I have a job so I am hoping that going earlier for the biometrics will help speed up the EAD!

Got a letter where it says that the FBI could not read my fingerprints Got a new appointment. Didn't want to wait so I did a walk-in today and got the fingerprints taken again. Hope that didn't delay the whole process. Good luck to y'all.

That's odd to hear that FBI can't read prints that their certified technicians collected. Anyway, glad it's not too much trouble for you. We mailed ours in early Nov, but haven't heard anything from them except for the biometrics letter/appointment. Good luck the rest of the way to you, and to everyone!!

Ugh, just checked online and it says they mailed an RFE for the I-485 on Dec 22nd. Just not ideal. I hope it at least comes fast so I know what we need to submit. No clue what it could be for.

Yes, on Friday finally. The appointment is on Dec 30th.

We finally responded back to the RFE yesterday. I wanted to make sure to gather all documents again and took the opportunity to add some additional information in the packet such as bank statements and current income information a copy of my driver license and social security card as well so I made sure to send a nice package back to them.

So they receive my paperwork on the 15 November, on the 17 they sent me my receipt number and alien number, and how is this possible theyve returned back my letter what apparently had my biometrics in it, the reason was that usps could not find the address, i called USCIS and asked them that its a mistake and please resend it back, did it happen to someone else the same with mail ?

and also how long it will take to get that letter back ?

Hey I checked my case and it said the same thing and my I765 and I131 just says case received. Can I still get an RFE at this point or probably after the interview.
