Adding Missing family member to the application

Please help!!!!! my sister's application finally came two months ago after 12 years of waiting. however, the form only includes one of her child. how do i go about adding the remaining kids. sent NVC their birth certificate over a month ago and still haven't heard anything.

When you called NVC what did they say? They should be instructing you. Is her one child on petition with her or they have there own petition?

It takes NVC 30 to 60 days to respond to email anyway.

Are you a citizen now or LR filing for sister.

Were the children born after the I-130 was filed? If yes, then that's why they are not on the petition. You would need to contact the NVC to add the children not listed on the I-130.

The petitioner or beneficiary needs to contact the NVC and provide information to add the children.

1. Google "contact NVC" for how to contact them.

2. In the cover letter to add the children, include the petitioner's address and birthdate, the beneficiary's address and birthdate, the NVC case number, and the children's names and birthdates.

3. With the cover letter, include photocopies of the children's birth certificates along with certified English translation. Google "USCIS translation" on how to do it.
