Document Cover Sheet

Hi VJer's, just a simple question. Is the document cover sheet for the AOS package and IV package? Answers would be highly appreciated. Thanks

I've been asking the same thing but I haven't gotten any answers. I'm 99% sure it's for both. I don't have access to the form right now but if I remember it correctly it was numbered 1-4 and if you compare those to the steps at NVC's website then they match the AOS and IV document they want. We've payed the AOS fee and we are waiting in the IV fee to become payable. My husband called NVC yesterday to ask when it becomes payable and they said we need to chose an agent first. My husband told them we already did that and when they double checked they said oh yes you did. Call back next week to see if it has become registered and then the IV fee will become payable. Then my husband asked if we could send in the cover sheet with all the documents even tho the IV fee isn't payed yet and they said yes. The only thing my husband forgot to double check was if it was for both the AOS and IV :/ NVC's website tells you to collect all documents and send everything in in one package Hopefully someone who knows 100% sure will answer soon

Thanks for the respond! Yes that's what I think, it is for both AOS and IV package, but not sure yet too lol. We just paid our IV fee and waiting for the ds260 to be unlock, our aos and IV packages are ready to be send.

I.e you put one copy of the AOS cover sheet with the financial documents and one AOS cover sheet with the supporting documents, but still put everything in the same envelope so it still comes to NVC as one package.

Mansux, the IV fee should became available about three weeks after you paid your AOS fee.

For example photographs. I thought it meant pictures of us but when you read on NVC's website it says ID pictures. Why not just say that in the first place?? Sigh.

We made a mistake on marking the list, how can I have another copy of it?

You should be able to get a new one by calling NVC since they sent it. My husband told me that if you put an x in the wrong place you fill out the entire spot and then put the correct x in the next place. That way they know that the completely filled out spot is incorrect and doesn't count

It might take a few days if we request for it because we need to send the packages this coming thursday. A member from other forum told me that we could just white out the mistake and then make a copy of it. Do you think we should be ok with that?

You can get additional copies through the CEAC invoice payment site (https://ceac.state.gov/CTRAC/Invoice/Signon.aspx).

Sign on with your case number and invoice number, click on Select for either the AOS or IV invoice payment, and on the bottom of the page there will be a "Print Document Cover Sheet" button. Alternatively, you can also have them email you the document cover sheet with the button next to it.

I meant is the document cover sheet with the list of the documents that we need to send in.

Over here in Sweden we have something called Tipp-Ex. It's a fluid that you use when you need to correct something. Look up if you have that or something similar. If it looks bad then take a copy of the original, that should make the Tipp-Ex less visible
