The Embassy wanted a co-sponsor. The only person I had was my father. His income is 25,900. He is married, so we had to claim three. The 125% poverty is 25,112. So here is my question. Will this be an issue?

Would he have any assets (savings, 2nd car, 401K etc) he could add?

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Any US citizen or green card holder can be a joint sponsor. Manila is tough on K visa joint sponsors with the I-134, but not so with the I-864.

If he has some assets to put down that will only help make him a stronger candidate. Be sure to include evidence of current and continuing income such as recent pay stubs and an employer letter.
