Baby Gary is a sweet and cute little guy. Luz's sister, Perla, named him after me. That was a huge honor for me. He will make a wonderful addition to our family!

I have at least some idea how this could happen. Women, especially those who are overweight, can be prone to having PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome). This can cause them to, quite naturally, skip periods for a long time. For instance, I had skipped for nearly a year before I finally lost enough weight for it to get under control and my body to get back to normal. When my weight went back up, I started skipping again. It just happens.

I, at least, did the smart thing when dealing with this condition, and that was... any time I was sexually active, I would get a pregnancy test every month and a half or so. Although I still can't understand why you wouldn't feel the baby moving around or at least something strange. Still, you'd be amazed what people can dismiss as nothing, especially if they don't like doctors.

PCOS is a hard disease to deal with as well as understand. I have it, but thankfully I don't weigh THAT much.

BTW...sometimes a baby's movement can mimic gas moving around. Maybe she thought she had gas....
