Out of option and out of hope..

Our case has priority date November 27th 2013 and we are still waiting for Welcome letter. It was approved on April 1st 2015 and then was put on CSPA review. it has been 7 months but Nobody knows how long it will take for case to move further. Called NVC multiple times and every time they said to wait for CSPA review. No guidelines or any info on this process. I hired stupid lawyer hoping to move case further. Guy took the money and said just wait for NVC to respond. This is like endless battle with NVC as there is no hope for anything. It is so unfair that other people get visa beyond our priority date and our case is not even being looked at. They keep giving same answer but nothing will ever happened for sure.

11/27/2013 - Priority Date

04/01/2015 - I-130 Approved

04/21/2015 - NVC received Case

04/29/2015 - DS261 filled

05/02/2015 - Case under CSPA review

06/04/2015 - Supervisor review Initiated-Wait 42 days

Have you approached your Congress Person?

What is CSPA review and did you tried to find the reason why your case was transferred for such review?

Tell your lawyer to send a letter to nvc stating the urgency of the case and the situation. That's what my lawyer did but not sure what exactly she wrote and I got approved all fees are paid just need to send in the Aos documents now

Have you approached your Congress Person?

Tell your lawyer to send a letter to nvc stating the urgency of the case and the situation. That's what my lawyer did but not sure what exactly she wrote and I got approved all fees are paid just need to send in the Aos documents now

^ do that or contact your congress person. Dont lose hope!!

Thank you all for kind words. Sorry for late reply as I was away for few days. I will tell my lawyer to send emergency request.
