Casablanca Recently Scheduled Interviews

Just want to let everyone know - we got our interview date! There seems to be no reasoning to the process, though... My fiancé wrote another email to them on Monday, then we heard Wednesday (Dec 16) about our interview date for January 8. But the email came to me with the packet of info for me to share with him, rather than directly to him. Very odd. But exciting! Such a relief. They seem to be finally working again on this!

Wonderful so many couples are moving along now - I hope others who may be waiting hear good news soon as well. Best of luck to everyone.

Congrats! We were approved during the interview Dec 23rd. Still currently waiting for visa and passport to be sent via Aramamex.

Good to hear, Omeeten! Congratulations to you as well! They told my fiance a week till he will get his visa. I wonder with the holidays if it will be delayed a few extra days. Hopefully soon.

Congratulations! That's wonderful news to share! I hope it goes quickly - the holidays don't seem to have slowed them down much. My fiancé is headed for his medical consultation tomorrow morning and then his interview next week on the 8th. I hope we have good news as well!

Call or go to the aramex office if you're still waiting for the visa (& especially if it shows up as issued in the system). We were waiting and waiting & finally my fiancé went into the office just to check and it had been there a week!! They told us they would call when it was ready but no one did and when he asked them why they don't call, they said "oh no, we don't do that!". So if you feel like you're waiting too long, just call aramex or go in person to the office.

Update: on the website ustraveldocs you can track your approved visa and a passport while it gets mailed to Aramex. Our status just changed yesterday when I checked. It still does not say delivered but now says "processing" or something along those lines.

Is it typical to jump into administrative processing immediately following the interview, for paperwork and getting the visa issued? Our case is updated as of today under AP. I've read horror stories about getting stuck here. Is this a normal step?

"Congratulations, your visa has been approved. You will receive your visa within a week."

I guess you just have to wait now,and for you to feel better search for forums that talk about AP so that you know what you're dealing with.it seems that you have some kind of hick up but I'm sure everything will turned out great for you Inshaellah.
