Casablanca states, "We are currently experiencing a high volume of fiancée petitions and have a backlog." They received our petition 16-Oct and we have not heard from them with packet 3 or an interview date. We've gotten a few messages from other visajourneyers asking about our progress with the embassy. There are couples that have been waiting longer than the expected month. I've heard to wait patiently, some say to bug them with emails and phone calls to obtain the info. If you have, within the past couple of months, received packet 3 with your interview date from Casablanca embassy, could you help fill us in with expected timelines and what way you went about getting it? This will be much appreciated!

If they received your petitioner oct 16 . Then you still have time nothing to worry about . They should schedule it by nov 16 .

Calling won't help unless there is a error in the case . Emailing is best way . You don't have to email them all the time like for I emailed them once every week . And then they finally replied back.

On the CEAC website, where you can go to track your package from NVC to the embassy, my status changed to "Ready" on October 16.

My petition left the NVC on Oct 13th or 14th and said "In Transit" on the CEAC site until it updated to "Ready" on Oct 16th.

I'm sorry to hear you've been waiting so long! I've read that Ready means it's at the embassy. I can't be sure though. I hope you get your interview soon!

I am the Petitioner for the K1 Fiancee Visa. Our Application has been "ready for interview" at the US Embassy in Casablanca since SEPTEMBER 4th. No answer via multiple e-mails/phone calls. We have been waiting for 2 months and 4 days now, and nothing. No packet. No response. No email.

I can't speak for others, but only our situation.

Take Care.
