New story just broke that he lied in his book about being accepted to West Point and his campaign admitted he made it up.

Unlike the above BS, IMHO this is a big huge breach of credibility.

If you look at the history of minority candidates, this is what happens. Ever since President Obama, the GOP has been trying to find their version of a black candidate. But they always fail since they tend to prop up inexperienced candidates. It's affirmative action at it's worse. It's like they're getting these dudes they know are going to fail just to prove how inept black people are. I'll give you two examples of this:

Herman Cain: As a black candidate you have to do three things. You have to hate Muslims. You have to challenge Obama's blackness. You have to say racism doesn't exist and that hard work can get you to the top. He did all of this and was number one in the polls until his hoeness started seeping out. Then he got booted.

Dr. Ben Carson: The GOP's wet dream of a black candidate. Just like above, he did all the required things. He doesn't like Muslims, he basically dressed down Obama to his face at the breakfast(which made the GOP love him) and he never talks about racism. And just like Cain, his lies are going to get him kicked out.

They're not vetting these dudes because it's the new version "but I got black friends". So they won't look racist. This is why it's funny to see the members of the GOP talk about Obama's inexperience in politics but sit there and back two dudes that had no experience whatsoever. Basically, if you're black and you're willing to blame all the ills of black and brown people on themselves, you're a shoe in for the GOP.

If you think anything I'm saying is untrue, take a good look at Colin Powell. Remember him? He would have been the perfect candidate for the GOP, but he didn't hate Muslims, nor did he dislike Obama, and he actually talked about racism. Funny how he's MIA after speaking out about racism towards the President.

Thanks Teddy. It's nothing we haven't seen before, but I said it months ago that Carson wasn't going to make it. I think Tim Scott would have been a much better choice, but they will never let a moderate, black republican run for President. Maybe one day that will change.
