I think that's important as well, but how you get there is important to a certain degree if you're preaching something else.

Everyone knows this. But neither side of the aisle is going to do anything about it. It says something when the candidate who's the loudest opposition for illegal immigration uses them for his own gain.

The Democrats want them because by giving them benefits, they lock the vote down. The Republicans want them because they're a cheap source of labor they can exploit.
