Does anyone know if the status changes after the case is completed at NVC when you "Check My Visa Application Status" @ http://ceac.state.gov/ ?

My case was completed 11/10 but the status still shows AT NVC.

Usually when you have case complete, the AOS fee changes from Paid to N/A. Once we saw that on the CEAC website, we called NVC and got our case complete confirmed. The three N/As refer to AOS fee, AOS

when it says in transit then its on its way to the embassy which means an interview was set

and when it says ready then embassy has gotten it and placed it in their system

or you can call NVC and check the status as well

nothing will change on the site before the interview is set it will always say AT NVC even if an interview is set. it only changes when it leaves the door( in transit) or when embassy puts it in their system ( ready) . they will send you an interview letter as well

YEAHhhhh.. we finally got the CC email from NVC today. And now for the next and final step... waiting for the interview date. PHEW...

I've been told it takes at least 30 days unless there is a problem with the documents, more documents are needed. My case took 27 days and I just received an email with the date and time for the interview (3 days after case was completed).

December 29th. We were hoping for an earlier date. I'll talk to the embassy on Monday and will try to reschedule it. I really hope they will be able to change it.

I see! Good luck if they will change please let us know! It's bizarre to just wait too long for every single process
