Paid immigration fee,lost receipt,can't find receipt number

Hi,

I paid 165 usd immigration fee after coming to the US. However, I lost the receipt I got after paying the fee. I was told that the receipt number from the receipt will help me find the status of my green card . Is there any other way I can find out my 13 digit receipt number? Is it the same number as what uscis assigned during the i130,petition stage?

Technically they can trace payment to your alien number but uscis people are too rude. Also youll have to wait 45 days before you contact them.
