Depressing Interview Day

So my fiance had her interview today the US consulate general in Jerusalem for her k1 visa. The interview went well, and they said they had all the documents they need. They did not take her passport and gave her a 221g for administrative processing. This is very frustrating and we are trying to make sense of it. Does anyone have any thoughts on what they will be looking for and how long they will take. The paper said at least 9 months, which with my researhc indicated that was wrong. Any advice or help please.

Thanks

AP has no actual time frame. Unfortunately it is just a 'sit and wait' situation.
