Wife came here on a B2 visa, fell in love and got married. Now she is staying here while we are waiting for the AOS process.

She got offered a PT retail job but not sure if she should take it yet since we don't have a TIN or SSN (green card).

The owner of the store said she can apply for a TIN. I looked at the IRS website and it looks like she can since she doesn't have a SSN and she is a spouse of a USC (me).

Does anyone have experience it this or will this affect her status?

TL:DR; will working with a TIN affect our process?
