Next month classes start so I'll only have time for school and wedding arrangements. At least it helps to make the time go by when I'm not at work mon-fri.

Morning everyone! Off to a rough start. That bed kept holding me in and the cold weather wants to keep me there too. I don't want to go to work today. Maybe some caffiene will help...off to find some. Have a good day.

We spent the weekend building a new pond in the backyard. It's about twice as big as the original one we put in last spring -- they will connect via a small waterfall. LOL ponds are addictive.

Now Monday interrupts us.

I did NOT want to get up this morning. We spent a wicked lazy day yesterday, lolligagging around, so I have no reason to be tired other then lolligagging around some more with Moh would have been GRAND. We had some semi-incoherent conversation about who was going to use the bathroom first when the alarm went off. I groaned that I needed it first, he mumbled OK, then he got up and went to the bathroom and closed the door and I hit the snooze button. We are PATHETIC. Somehow managed to get to my desk only 1 minute late. How... I have no idea. I haven't heard any reports of some freakish hit and run accidents on the freeway so I must have made it here harm free. Blah.

I have a lunch break now and it's strange but this monday morning flew by so quickly for me.....before I knew it, it was lunchtime. Hope the rest of the week is the same.

So far so good.....the only thing that was annoying was that they started construction on a major road I have to take to get to work.....I had to follow a detour which took an extra twenty minutes.....the construction is supposed to last until May.....that means I have to get up an extra twenty minutes early everyday.....that's gonna be rough. Good thing I left home early today. I got up before my alarm clock.....that's cuz I woke up to the ring of a text message.....a very lovely "thinking of you, good morning, have a nice day & week" text from my dear who is patiently waiting for an interview date.

AAAAWWWW thats sweet! The text thingy! I feel you on the construction. But you're lucky we are having construction done on one of the major e-ways here, too. They just started on the second side on March 1st and will be done hopefully in November. The 1st part was about 1 year in the making. What kills me about all of it tho, thats ironically when they dismissed the transfers and hiked up the bus fare to $2 per ride! Aint that a buscuit with no gravy??? Some people have a couple busses and a train to take in the a.m. They do have the daily $5, weekly $20, and monthly $75, bus cards. But by the time you get thru getting to work youre broke anyway, whether its mental due to traffic in your car or the bus, ir financially messin around with CTA!
