Thanks for replying. That makes sense, I have the NOA2 and attatched is a copy of the i-129f they sent back with it. I should have stated I was applying from a K1 visa, yes. I was confised as I dont have any documents at all that say I-797 on them.

This whole process is so stressful! I can't wait for it to be over

You and me both , but don't let it stress you cause in the end it doesn't help but make u sick believe me, I'm a very impatient person so this whole thing is stressing me to the max so I try to keep myself busy as possible

I'm sure I'll feel less stressed once I've actually sent these forms off. I'm currently 'out of status' with having my wedding late on day 88 of my allocated 90 days. Never mind, I'm sure everything will run smoothly for us both haha

I used the op's list for our AOS and I got an RFE.

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up, USCIS isn't consistent with anything.

RFE was for missing medical, which I was expecting HOWEVER they also wanted the US Citizen's birth certificate, divorce papers, and biometrics page (because we realized the embassy didn't keep during the K1 interview, but not a big deal)

What surprised me was they also want proof of co-mingling of assets. Again not a big deal, but I thought that was needed at removal of conditions.

I'm not trying to scare anyone or say the op's list is bad, I just wanted to show everyone how inconsistent USCIS can be.

I'm glad you had no RFE's. Hopefully mine will be the same. I have W-2's from 2012,2013,2014, 2015. I think I'm okay for those! Haha!

Also I posted this question last night but I have had no replies. I've tried google and all other things to help but I'm still not sure. Dont know if you or anyone could help??

"Hi,

I'm currently filling out my AOS paperwork. I'm confused as to what part I need to mark (if any) on part 3 of the form (questions below). Any advice will be greatly appreciated. My DUI was back in 2006, if this makes any difference at all. Thanks.

Lauren :)

Inconsistent is a good word. This has been happening lately. It is not just you. Did your RFE come from a USCIS local office that is not yours, such as San Fransisco or Tampa? It seems like they are trying to get through the backlog of those being approved without interview and sending some cases to USCIS offices. Those offices are sending out RFEs asking for K-1 adjusters to provide documents that are not required, and not typically asked for when being approved without interview. Unfortunately, all you can do is comply.

I hope my case will be like yours

I just got my EAD/AP combo card in the mail and I am hoping to get my green card without an interview as well since my husbands job is the worst on taking time off

even trying to have him take even a few hours off so he can take me to the biometrics appt his job gave him such a hard time for
