What to do? Pea-sized brain politician of a large country. What can small neighboring countries do to him?

For the past 18 years, haze from forest fires has been an annual problem in Indonesia, which has been rooted in the slash-and-burn method used by companies to clear large chunks of land to make space for plantations.

On one hand, Indonesia said it is welcoming help to fight the forest fires, on the other hand it is also refusing help from Malaysia and Singapore (probably due to national pride).

I can only pity the Indonesia people living amid the disaster.

Fossils fuels account for about 30 billion tonnes of CO2 annually. Volcanoes account for roughly 200 million tonnes give or take and forest fires less than 100 million.
