Can you guys please tell me how this sounds?

To whom it may concern:

I, *******, met *******,through a group of mutual friends who live in Uganda. After our friends had told us about one another*******, and I became friends on Facebook in September of 2014. Soon after speaking on Facebook we started to also share phone conversations and used applications on our phone for texting one another. Our conversations remained friendly in nature and the more we became to know one another the more we realized we had a lot in common and really liked each other.

After speaking for close to a year we decided it was time for me to visit and take our friendship to a new level. Our feelings had developed beyond just a friendship and with great anticipation of our relationship growing I booked a flight to Uganda to meet *******, face to face. On September 18th I landed in Uganda at Entebbe airport. *******,was there waiting to pick me up and take me to *******,Conference Centre located in Munyonyo where she stayed with me for the duration of my trip. We had a fantastic time growing as a couple during my time in Uganda.

During my stay in Uganda I met*******, family on numerous occasions at their home as well as on outings to Kampala. I asked *******, family for their blessings to propose to*******, in which blessings for our relationship were indeed granted. On September 25th I proposed to*******,, and was extremely happy when she said yes. We are looking forward to getting married within 90 days upon her arrival in the USA on the K1 visa.

Sincerely,

*******,

I thought you were supposed to make a full page and just put see addendum in that box?

Nope. Mine was four short sentences. We met online xx-xx-xxxx. I visited on xx-xx-xxxx. My visit lasted xx days. We went sightseeing and visited family and firends. END.

You have a lot of detail that isn't truly necessary and the important info can get lost in all that detail. But I'm a sweet. short to the point kind of person. I don't over do details unless I'm asked.

All they want to know is how and when you met.

I included a separate page with the information you typed. That way, the CO could also read how our relationship was established and see our story. The USCIS doesn't need this, but it may be helpful later down the road. I did a short sentence and also "See attachment B for more details". That way, anyone that wanted more details could read that and anyone who didn't need or want the details could skip it.

Some people have the urge to write a narrative. There is nothing wrong with it.

Some folks like to "front-load" their petition with statements concerning their relationship; there is no harm to that.

USCIS just wants you to tell them when and where you met in person and then you should have good evidences supporting that meeting.
