just arrived yesterday here at L.A. didn't expect the cold weather lol and i find it hard somewhat to breath haha guessing the air here is much thinner compared to the humid air in the Philippines. Haven't had the chance to sleep at all my body won't let me ? haha d**m its cold .. ?

Hahahaha you arrived right when it got cold, last week it was about 20 degrees warmer than it is na. It's good that you came here to the LA area because there are a ton of Pinoys that can help you transition.

Welcome to the US! My favourite thing to do when it gets cold is to cuddle up with the hubby :joy: Hot soup and beverages are also mandatory when it's cold out!

I think part of the problem is that apartments in LA (at least the ones my sister has lived in while she was studying in LA) aren't built for cooler weather! My husband has lived his whole life in the Northeast of the US bordering Canada where it's freezing in the wintertime and doesn't really complain about the cold here but when we met up in LA in the early spring some years ago before we were married he was cold the whole time. I guess he should have brought his winter coat. :jest::rofl:

Funny - and when I fly out to LA from Virginia at this time of year I think its absolute heaven...dry and warm, but not obnoxious. Love the warmer days and cooler nights.

Lol maybe you should get s humidifier. :) my cousin said it really helps... as for me, we live far north of you, i just need a fan to help me breathe. Hehe welcome to the us. :)
